Kathipara bridge another landmark

We finally have most expected first phase of the Kathipara bridge completed and open for public use. The bridge sure is a big one than the usual narrow squeezed in ones that we usually get. I went past the bridge but did not get to use it yet. The new Kathipara bridge will make a whole of difference in the traffic behavior in that area.

    Havent come to Chennai for almost 2 years so didnt know the status of the bridge.
    I am actually sad to see the completed bridge. Did anyone notice that there is no footpath near any of the roads. Sad is the development that we have where footpaths are vanishing. It is either taken by the roads or by the people who set up shops. Lack of footpath is dangerous for the pedestrians as well as the people who drive on those roads.
