Vadapalani seems to be growing with many Apartment complexes and Commercial buildings making the area more popular and an increase in population. Being the film makers hub and with beautiful Lord Muruga temple placed in the heart of the area all these years, now this place is getting a face lift.

Not a quiet and reserved place anymore, with a multiplex movie theater complex in the making, Pothy's branching out, the already popular Big Bazaar expands its infrastructure with more floors above its its existing setup and lot more families expected to move to this area once the new apartment buildings are ready.
